Marin Water is recruiting for a Engineering Manager I or II — Construction to direct professional and technical work and staff in support of the construction management and inspection of the District’s Capital Improvement Program and provide construction review, input and support in the design of District Capital Improvement projects. This position reports to the Director of Engineering. The incumbent manages and administers all activities within the Construction Division of the Engineering Department, manages complex engineering projects, provides responsible support to the Director of Engineering in areas of expertise and performs related work as required.
Engineering Manager I/II: Equivalent to a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with major coursework in civil engineering, construction management, or a related field.
Engineering Manager I: Five (5) years of increasingly responsible professional civil engineering and/or construction management experience, including two (2) years of supervisory experience.
Engineering Manager II: Seven (7) years of increasingly responsible professional civil engineering and/or construction management experience, including two (2) years of supervisory experience.
Possession of or the ability to obtain an appropriate California driver's license issued by the State Department of Motor Vehicles and satisfactory driving record.
