Water Quality & Regs for Microbial Parameters

The workshop begins with an introduction on source water types & classification of contaminants, followed by an introduction on microbial contaminants & inactivation. An introduction on drinking water regulations is then provided, including a presentation of the regulatory agencies, potential health effects that may results from water contaminants, & regulatory processes (Unregulated Contaminants Monitoring, UCM, Program; & Contaminant Candidate Lists, CCL).
