Appointment Type, Duration and Location:

Temporary exempt appointment: Exempt employees are considered “at will” and serve at the discretion of the appointing officer.

Interns will be reporting to various locations depending on assignment:

Water Enterprise – 1657 Rollins Road, SF CA

Wastewater Enterprise – 750 Phelps Street, SF CA

Wastewater Enterprise – 3801 Third Street, Suite 600, SF CA

Hetchy Power Enterprise – 651 Bryant Street or 525 Golden Gate Avenue, SF CA

Hetchy Water Division – Moccasin, CA (140 miles east of SF bay area)

Infrastructure – 525 Golden Gate Avenue, SF CA

External Affairs – 525 Golden Gate Avenue, SF CA

Business Services – 525 Golden Gate Avenue, SF CA

General Description:

Under minimum direction, the 9922 Public Service Aide, Associate to Professionals performs a variety of duties requiring a high level of responsibility; carries out complex tasks relative to the performance of management functions; may be responsible for supervising subordinates; researches and analyzes data; investigates and advises in legal matters; and prepares legal documents.

Position Qualifications

Completion of at least two years of college from an accredited college or university

Desirable Qualifications:

1. Good public relations skills;

2. Good written and verbal communications.
